Panasonic gave me a brief to sell their new Smart Home system, which allows you to monitor your home while you are away from the convenience of your smartphone. Sensors and cameras will detect any unwelcome guests and alert you straight away.
My idea focussed on a current home deterrent - the humble guard dog. If you installed it, they could effectively take the day off. So I created Dave, the dog who’s gone out for a well deserved rest whilst Smart Home looks after the house. Dave’s film included a social competition where owners could share their VIP (Very Important Pet) pictures to win a chance for them to also have a day off whilst Panasonic looked after their home.
